Choose from Standard or Custom Frames

Luxel manufactures three standard frame styles, including mounting in a VAT valve, that are available in several sizes. We will supply custom filters and windows mounted on your frames. Contact us early in the design cycle to ensure that your custom frame requirements are compatible with current production techniques, and to benefit from our broad experience in this area.

Detailed drawings of our standard filter frames are available on request.

TF style frames are two-piece frames of black anodized aluminum, developed to withstand laboratory handling and spacecraft launch loads.

CF or "conflat" style frames are double-sided stainless steel flanges for use in ultra-high vacuum applications. If required, they can be baked to reduce outgassing.

VF style frames are two-piece frames with outer diameter threads to fit a VAT gate valve. VF frames may be changed in the field, thereby minimizing interruptions to experiments. They are excellent for separating high-vacuum experiments from ultra high-vacuum conditions. VF style frames are a good choice for research on a synchrotron beamline.

Custom frames can be supplied to meet specific needs. They can be built to your specification, or we can work with frames you supply.
