Text Box: No grids to interfere with imaging. These innovative TEM sample supports were developed by Luxel with support from the US National Institutes of Health (NIH). These supports feature a full 2mm clear round opening (many other geometries available) for easy and efficient viewing in any TEM application. The robust metal edge is spanned by a strong ultra thin film designed to support TEM specimens and yield maximum electron beam transmission. Luxel produces both Copper and Nickel supports in a range of geometries including, 2mm full open, 1.5mm open, 1X2mm slot, and hyper-strong girded supports. Films can be custom ordered from 25nm to 150nm +/- 5nm or tighter thickness control.   Every film is carefully produced, cleaned and inspected. The film thickness is carefully controlled and measured. Luxel’s films yield electron beam transmission of over 85% in most applications.
