Evaporation Sources for Organic Materials -

NEWThe Luxel Organic Source provides the ability to deposit volatile organic materials such as required by the Organic LED industry.  Temperature control to 0.1°C allows for precise deposition rate control.  Tuning modes prevent temperature overshoot and assure a high quality, uniform film.  Multiple sources may be arrayed in order to co-deposit dyed films for color displays.

Features of OLED I and II Organic Sources

bulletUnique design for use with LTE (low temperature evaporation) of volatile organics
bulletOperates at low temperatures with superior thermal control in 50 - 600 °C range
bulletAbout 60% the cost of comparable Knudsen cell
bulletPerformance:  Ability to grow uniformly on 5" substrates at rates greater than 2 Å/sec
bulletIdeal for use in tandem for co-deposition of dye-doped organic emissive films
bulletAlumina crucible evenly distributes temperature and reduces organic spitting
bulletProvides for easy access to crucible for cleaning
bulletEasy to install with single bolt mount coupling
bulletCompatible with Luxel deposition rate power controllers
bulletDistributes coatings evenly by directing vapor
